“A great stay”
A very clean and comfortable apartment with everything you need with Zoran and his wife being very helpful and hospitable. A little out of town - an easy and interesting 10 to 15 minute walk - but the apartment is close to buses, a small yacht harbour and beautiful walks and swims in the Marjan Park.
Would I recommend this vacation rental to my best friend? Yes.
We stayed at this apartment for 3 days and it was absolutely wonderful. The owners made us breakfast on our first morning and told us how to get to nearby tourist destinations. It is well situated with old town only 15 minutes away and a shop across the street. Would definitely stay here again.
“Fantastic apartment in perfect location for Split and Marjan Park”

Apartment Nevica is an enchanting one bedroomed apartment with sea views from the Terrace. The apartment is located in a quiet location being an easy fifteen minutes’ walk to Split and a ten-minute walk to Marjan Park. The apartment is well equipped and has a private terrace with a table chairs and sunbeds. The owners Ranka and Zoran are extremely hospitable and provided us with a lovely Dalmatian meal on the day of our arrival. As well as that they we enjoyed a fantastic trip to Hvar one of the islands off Split where Ranka, Zoran and their family provided us with information about the Croatian way of life and introduced us to Dalmatian food and wine. There are frequent ferries from Split to the islands of Hvar, Brac and Vis. There are many restaurants and café bars in Split within walking distance to the apartment. Marjan Park is a beautiful park where you can hire a bike at minimal cost and use the dedicated cycle paths. The park has several trails into the hills and lovely beaches to visit with beautiful views of the Dalmatian mountains across the Adriatic Sea. There are supermarkets, a chemist and a bakery a brief walk from the apartment. We had a fantastic holiday which would not have been the same without the amazing hospitality of Zoran and Ranka who go the extra mile to ensure their guests have an enjoyable stay in Croatia.

We had the pleasure to stay for 7 nights, parked our rental car and walked everywhere. Location is walking distance to beaches, Old Town, with market, pub and Caffes all close by, The apartment is equipped with everything required, as well as the backyard space, a quiet place close to town but without the noise.
Zoran and Ranka are most helpful, and happy to assist in every way. We enjoyed a super meal Ranka prepared for us, and even received some cooking tips!
We couldn't have asked for anything more!

Zoran and his wife Ranek (sp?) welcomed us with so much warmth and information. They reviewed a map of the town, answered our questions, and helped us feel at home the moment we arrived. The apartment lies adjacent to a beautiful park and is a short walk to the bustleing old town area. The apartment included all the conveniences we could want from air conditioning to coffee pot, to easy free parking and even fresh tomatoes. I highly recommend the apartment for anyone who is looking for close access to downtown Split yet a quiet location next to the green park and beach.

Zoran and Ranka could not have been more welcoming or helpful. We enjoyed their company and advice (though we could have chosen solitude) and the pomegranates from the garden.
The apartment had all we needed and was very comfortable. it is small but with the use of outside dining and bbq area and balcony we had plenty of space and quiet.
easy walk into town and a short walk to Marjan Hill. would like to think we can return...
Warm welcome and good advices!

I would recommend it for a couple, not that much for a familly. It's a bit on the small side and kitchen is not really practical. Better have the kids outside :-)
A very quiet place, out from the city centre (but close enough) with excellent tomatoes from the garden! The owners Zoran and Ranka are lovely and ready to help.

We visited Split in June 2014 and were looking for a centrally-located holiday rental with private parking. This apartment met all our
requirements and proved to be one of the highlights of our stay in Croatia.
I must emphasize how our hosts, Zoran and Ranka, were helpful and friendly. It started with easy communication at the moment of booking the
apartment. When we arrived, they took the time to explain how to get around, what to see, and just to get to know them while sharing a glass
(or two) of Croatian wine. They received us in their home as if we were family, and that made our stay in Split very special.
The apartment is located on the upper floor of their house, and has its own entrance at the back, where a nice terrace with a table and a
barbecue are also available for guests. It is quite small, but well organized and functional. The air conditioning works well and the kitchen,
though very small, is relatively well-equipped. There is a small table in the kitchen, but we preferred to enjoy the nice weather as much as
possible and to have breakfast on the outside terrace.
At first, it can be a bit tricky to find (the GPS sent us on the wrong side of the property), but it is ideally located to visit Split. The
old city is a short 15-minute walk from the apartment, and the wonderful Marjan Hill Park nearby. Tucked between some tennis courts and the
marina, the apartment is very quiet, yet very close to downtown's action. A Lidl grocery store is also conveniently located at a couple blocks
from the house.
All in all, we had a wonderful stay at Apartment Nevica and we definitely hope to visit Zoran and Ranka again in the future!

The apartment is very comfortable ,compact and well equipped. It is situated in what appears as a semi rural area ,but which is very close to
the centre of Split..It is also very close to the Majan peninsular which is a wooded rural area with beaches.Zoran and Ranka were very
welcoming and made us feel very much at home even making us a lovely meal on the last day of our stay. The apartment has internet and
television. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We could not find the apartment by means of our gps. We called Zoran and he came to a near by gas station and we followed him back to his
apartment. We had a cozy double bed, kitchen, sitting area with tv, and bathroom. A nice touch was a travel iron and hair dryer in the
bathroom. It is centrally located. There is very little parking spaces in Split, so it is best to walk. We walked all day, touring Split. We
would highly recommend Nevica apartment!

Zoran and Ranka were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome, telling us about Split and answering our questions about Croatia. They
were always helpful but never intrusive. We enjoyed their company.
The flat is accurately described on the website. We loved the fact that although it's on the first floor, we had the back garden (with dining
table, sun loungers and B-B-Q) to ourselves.
It's only a couple of minutes' walk from the sea and a further 5 minutes to a park with designated swimming areas. The sea-front in the
attractive historic centre of Split is a 15 minute walk in the other direction.
We stayed for a week and it was an ideal base to explore both Split and the surrounding area.

The apartment is located in a very desirable part of Split; an easy walk to the Old Town and to the nearest beach. The apartment is
comfortable, with a terrace outside in which to eat in. The owners were welcoming, and available to offer advice about places of interest

Fantastic stay with Ranka and Zoran, great location within walking distance of Split centre. Appartment very clean and comfortable, the
kitchen is small but with a BBQ outside this was not a problem. Ranka and Zoran are the ideal hosts, friendly and extremely welcoming - they
could not have been more helpful in anyway. We had a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend this appartment to anyone that needs
accomodation in Split.

I stayed at this apartment with my 8 year old daughter, and we had a great stay here. Ranka and Zoran are friendly hosts who speak good
English. The apartment is on the upper floor with a small balcony that gets the sun in the pm and use of the garden. It is clean and
comfortable. The area is quiet so we slept well, and it's within an easy walk to town. One night Ranka cooked us a barbecue of organic meat of
the kind I rarely taste in the UK! If you need any advice or help from them during your stay just ask as they are very helpful. If I ever come
back to Split I would stay here again.
We had an excellent time and good fun

The location was very good - 15-20mins walk to town or you had the local cafes and marinas to wander about away from the hussle of the town on your doorstep.
Excellent for visiting the islands as the ferrys are available and any buses. The Marjan country park is 10 mins. away and worth a visit.
Zoran and Ranka are excellent hosts who enjoy having guests and will help you in every way.
